My name is Olaitan Omokehinde. I am a Lagos based writer, blogger, content creator and brand strategist.
I hope to share with you parts of myself that you can relate to. So let us start with the things that I love.
I love sunflowers and my favourite time of the day is the hours between 2 am and 5 am. You know, that time when the day is filled with the innocence of dawn and all goals seem attainable, the air is fresh and untainted with the madness of our daily routines. I love music,
I believe songs can get you through anything, a bad day, terrible Lagos traffic and multiple chores.
I want to write my heart out to you and I hope you love it. So my loves, when you click on “Flash Fiction” what you will experience is a brief escape from reality into a world that should be, a world that could be, a world that will be or perhaps a world that will never be. You will read stories that would stay immortalised in your memories forever and you will carry them with you wherever you go, never forgetting them as you will never forget me.
When you click on “In Conversation With You” here we will sit and gist like besties ( That’s what we are right?) I will share with you the myriads of thoughts that pass through my head and of course my experiences in this crazy city that is Lagos. Stirring within you emotions that you might be too scared to stir yourself. So if like me you are a bundle of emotions and deep thoughts then this is the place for you.
When you click on “Book Review” I will introduce you to the bundle of talents that are African female authors. Their wit, their unique view of life, their ability to transport you through the pages of their books. My fellow bookworms this is the place for you.
The goal is to write to you, grow with you, love you and receive your love in return.
All in all, I hope everyone finds a level of comfort from this blog. It’s a haven, for you, for me, for us. This little corner of the internet is an escape for me, I hope it’s the same for you and even more.
